The Rules
Every Friday at lunch our Panel of 8 Judges rolls into a Burger Joint. They sit down and order 8 Hamburgers. They evaluate the burger on one thing, and one thing only: TASTE.
No frills, they’re not concerned with ambience, courtesy of the wait staff, or the condition of the establishment. Their only concern is TASTE. They don’t order Pineapple Tofu Burgers and don’t use A1 Steak sauce. Only the use of traditional condiments is acceptable: lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise and pickles. Cheese is optional.
Each Judge
will score the Burger on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest)
Fractional scoring is allowed only to the half point. The Sum of the
total points received is divided by the number of Judges- and the
Burger is given a Final Score by the Panel. Results will be posted on a
weekly basis. .
